Stacey Morrison
Television Presenter
It's best to say that Stacey Morrison (nee Daniels) is a broadcaster, because that covers her work as a presenter on TV2, (she also works behind the scenes in marketing and production - as in research and directing too) Radio co-host on Mai FM, and Emcee, voice over artist for various events and ads.
Stacey's first introduction to television came in high school when her drama group at Aranui High School were asked to audition for What Now!, and she became a host of 'Let's Cook' which was also inadvertently her first acting experience, seeing as she's really a shocker in the kitchen.
Stacey has worked in television both behind the scenes and in front of the camera ever since, on shows like Infocus, Marae, Mai Time, Showstoppers, Celebrity Treasure Island and Guess Who's coming to Dinner.
Her love of New Zealand music started as a wee dot busting moves to Mark Williams 'Yesterday Was Just the Beginning of My Life' before it was an NZ Idol hit, and has always been close to her heart, especially through her work on Mai Time in Auckland for the last seven years.
In her spare time Stacey loves to spend time with family & friends. She also enjoys participating in team sports and used to play on the wing for Auckland rugby clubs Waitemata and College Rifles. Stacey is a regular Duffy Role Model and we know your kids will really enjoy her visit - she is inspirational!
