Hi, my name is Alistair McIntyre, more recently known as "Mr Mac". I have had 20 odd years experience in the contracting and landscaping field, operating heavy machinery on various worksites and this is what gave me the idea of writing a children's book about my work experiences and therefore creating "Doug the Digger". I have really enjoyed visiting schools and sharing the "Doug the Digger" concept and development stages with the kids and of course I'm hoping your school may wish to join the fan club!
