Twice a year, Role Models generously give their time to visit Duffy Schools right around the country. Television presenters, comedians, writers, actors, musicians, police officers, radio presenters, athletes, even a Crown Prosecutor all go out for Books in Homes to talk to Duffy kids about the importance of reading and to make the connection for these students between success and reading.
Role Models talk about their lives, about where they've come from and how they have reached their goals and made the decisions that have got them to where they are today. These people are some of the success stories that the upcoming generation of young Kiwis can aspire to become. They are all great people, each and every one, and we are extremely grateful to them for helping Books in Homes to make a difference.
