Where are you from?
I was born in Takapuna and grew up in Birkdale, on the North Shore in Auckland.

What books did you love growing up?
Growing up the Harry Potter series were my favourite books, I'm sure I've read all of them into the triple digits.

What do you love about reading?
Storytelling has been around as long as humans have been, I love being able to read and reread my favourites and find new details within them. I also think it opens your mind to other people and lifestyles.

What inspired you to be an actor?
Every script is the most interesting point of someone's life, I like being able to explore periods of time that cause heightened emotions among characters because within real life you have to go through all the other parts too. It's fun to explore exciting situations.

Who are your real-life role models?
Real-life role models currently are Chloë Swarbrick and Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez, it's nice seeing people fight for things that are important to humanity in a dignified and intelligent way, while also exceeding most expectations placed upon them.

What do you look forward to most about touring in The Duffy Show?
I'm really looking forward to travelling the country! I think it's a really great opportunity to see a lot of the country that I probably wouldn't have otherwise, while also doing the job I love.

Where are you from?
Born in South Africa!

What books did you love growing up?
Harry Potter! All of them! As a kid, I memorised the first page and a half of the first Harry Potter book and would proudly recite it out loud to absolutely no one in my bedroom. Harry Potter inspired me to want to write and perform stories.

What do you love about reading?
I love being transported into another world. When I'm sad my reading rate doubles. It's a form of healthy escapism. For a moment, a few hours, a few days or the length of the book, you get to step inside the mind of someone else and see, hear and smell their world. There's a lot of power in reading - I learn a lot about the world, about other people of all ages, cultures and backgrounds. It’s also when I do the most self-reflection. That sounds like a generic reading answer, but honestly, reading is the best vice I have!

What inspired you to be an actor?
Harry Potter! I watched the first movie, after having been obsessed with the books, and I learnt all of the lines of every character and would direct scenes in my living room. I played Hermione (always) and I would feed lines to my friends. I also summarised the first Harry Potter in a puppet show and performed it to my whole class (for no reason) when I was eight.

Who are your real-life role models?
My friends.

What do you look forward to most about touring in The Duffy Show?
Seeing parts of New Zealand I've never seen before and spending the long driving days listening to podcasts!

Where are you from?
I’m from Mt. Albert in Auckland.

What books did you love growing up?
I particularly loved The Captain Underpants, Artemis Fowl and CHERUB series’ when I was growing up.

What do you love about reading?
I mainly love that reading books can give you an entirely different perspective on the world from wherever you are, it’s a great way to connect to people with ideas and imaginative stories and can be an inspiration for the reader to create their own!

What inspired you to be an actor?
I found at my intermediate school that creating scenes in drama class was a great way to make people laugh, and ever since I found out I could do that I’ve been absolutely hooked

Who are your real-life role models?
My close friends and family are definitely big role models of mine, others include David Lange and Marilyn Manson (including a plethora of other musicians)

What do you look forward to most about touring in The Duffy Show?
Bringing a really fun show to a whole new set of audiences in different schools across the country, I have no idea how it’s going to go which to me is a really exciting prospect!
