The Programme
Our programme delivers 6 books annually to each child at Duffy schools, one show a year from Westpac Duffy Theatre, weekly Caught Being Good awards (books + certificate) and twice yearly Role Model assemblies.
Three times a year, every Duffy child chooses the two books they’d like to receive, that they get to take home and cherish. There are approximately 80 titles per book offer and the titles on offer are different each time. The titles available are chosen by Duffy Coordinators, Duffy principals and Duffy children at Book Selection workshops.
How you can help
The way our programme works is each school is matched with a funding partner. The school covers 50% of the cost of the books for all tamariki in that school. The funding partner covers the other 50%. As a funding partner, you can be involved on whichever level works best for you. Some funding partners attend every Duffy assembly and might even have staff who volunteer at the school. Others prefer to just make a financial contribution.
Become a Funding Partner
Our funding partners make our programme possible. Duffy school funding partners come from all walks of life – large corporations, local businesses and families, individuals, clubs and other schools. What joins them is the desire to make a real difference in the lives of tamariki. As a funding partner, you can be involved on whichever level works best for you. Some funding partners attend every Duffy assembly and might even have staff who volunteer at the school. Others prefer to just make a financial contribution.
Your donation covers half the cost of the programme in the school and varies depending on the size of the school’s roll.
Schools Needing a Funding Partner
We have schools around the country in need of a funding partner. These have been grouped by region and the school name is accompanied by the amount it would cost the funding partner to support the school per year.

Make a Donation
You can also make a one-off or regular donation to support the work we do in schools around the country. All donations are gratefully received and ensure we can continue our work.
